Services
Here at Coleman Trucking and Lab Services, we offer a wide variety of services:
D.O.T Number
A Notary Public is a public official authorized to witness and certify the signing of important documents, administer oaths, and verify the identities of signatories. Their role helps prevent fraud and ensures the authenticity and legality of documents like contracts, affidavits, and powers of attorney.
LLC Set-Up
LLC setup involves establishing a Limited Liability Company (LLC), a business structure that provides personal liability protection for its owners while offering flexibility in management and taxation. This process includes choosing a unique business name, filing formation documents (like Articles of Organization) with the state, creating an Operating Agreement, and obtaining necessary permits or licenses, meeting specific state requirements.
M.C. NUMBER
An MC Number, or Motor Carrier Number, is issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and is required for carriers involved in interstate commerce. It serves as a unique identifier for trucking companies and freight carriers, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards for transporting goods across state lines.
Pilot Car Business Set-up
Pilot car training teaches individuals to safely escort oversized loads by covering relevant regulations, safety procedures, and vehicle operation. It also includes route planning and effective communication with the load driver and authorities to ensure smooth and secure transport.
Dispatch Training
Pilot car training teaches individuals to safely escort oversized loads by covering relevant regulations, safety procedures, and vehicle operation. It also includes route planning and effective communication with the load driver and authorities to ensure smooth and secure transport.
DOT Driver Qualification Forms
Driver DOT qualification forms ensure that commercial drivers meet federal health and fitness standards by documenting their medical examinations and certifications. These forms include the Medical Examination Report, Medical Examiner's Certificate, and other related documents that employers must maintain to comply with DOT regulations.
Non DOT Driver Qualification Forms
Non-CDL driver qualification forms are used to verify the eligibility and compliance of drivers operating vehicles that do not require a commercial driver’s license (CDL), typically for vehicles under 26,001 pounds. These forms often include a medical examination report, driving record checks, and any relevant certifications or training documentation, ensuring that drivers meet safety and regulatory standards even if they aren't driving commercial vehicles.
I-9 Verification
The I-9 verification process involves employees completing Form I-9 to confirm their eligibility to work in the U.S., and employers verifying the employee's identity and work authorization documents within three days of their start date. Employers must keep the completed form for three years or one year after employment ends, whichever is longer, and may optionally use E-Verify to further confirm the employee’s eligibility.
